To some, these pictures are merely images from my trail runs in Cherokee Park in Louisville, Kentucky, but to me, these are sacred spaces as holy and revered as any cathedral, temple, mosque, or church in the world. For mixed in with the mud, sweat, and tears, both happy and sad, I found salvation, redemption, and healing that only nature can offer. The earth beneath my feet soothed my baby soul and led me back to my happy.
