One thing that I find particularly funny is when someone unintentionally uses their own words to insult themselves. Thanks to my special friend for supplying me with this latest humorous moment, courtesy of someone he knows who goes out of her way to manipulate, hurt, and take advantage of him.
Irregardless of how you perceive yourself and what lies you tell yourself and others, your own words sometimes betray you. So, when this particular person told my special friend, “You fail to give me less than the credit deserved”, she could not have been more correct. Any credit that she receives is too much. Sometimes, less is more indeed!
