As I sit, yet once again, savoring the momentary silence that signals that I am home alone, I find myself giddy with anticipation. It is Thanksgiving Eve, and I am more than ready to welcome back one of my favorite holidays. Thanksgiving is almost here, and not a moment too soon.
This evening finds me in a reflective mood, as I continue to ponder all that I am grateful for, not just today, but every day. As I look back on this year’s series of gratitude blogs, I am reminded that there is always something to be thankful for, regardless of life’s circumstances. I also am reminded of what, or rather whom, deserves my greatest gratitude. The lights of my life.
I am overwhelmed with appreciation for the people in my life who have lit the way for me when I have stumbled in the darkness and who have reignited my own spark, so, that I may shine brightly. There are far too many people to single out individually, but I hope that they all know how thankful I am for their support, guidance, patience, humor, wisdom, and love, all of which have led me to where I am at this moment. Life is not perfect, but it is good. It really is, and for that, I am immensely grateful. Thank you!!!
