In less than 48 hours, we will commence with the celebration of Thanksgiving and not a moment too soon! As the countdown continues, so does my gratitude for the simple pleasures served up on this ordinary Tuesday.

The feeling of satisfaction from being productive and doing good work, both on and off the clock.
The sound of John’s voice and laughter.
The wonderful woodsy, pine scent of our Christmas tree filling the house.
The arrival of Christmas presents being delivered and the anticipation of giving them to my loved ones.
An quiet evening at home.
It was a good day, and for that, I am very grateful.
